Hello, I’m Liz. Thank you for taking the time to check out our space and learn a little about us. I am excited to share this space with you and become a part of your story.
The Sära is a venue like no other in the city of San Antonio. Oversized windows, all white canvas, concrete floors, high ceilings and abundant lighting create the ideal ambiance for that timeless aesthetic look for your event.
The Sära can comfortably fit up to 80 indoors with additional space for seating outdoors in our garden area that overlooks the rolling green hills of the Canyon Springs Golf Course.
It was always my dream to create a non traditional venue for our clients to have the creative freedom to make it uniquely their own. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Why Sära?
When I was young, my mother wrote me a letter during her 3rd battle with cancer. She told me I had a choice to allow life’s hardships to enhance the beauty of life. The letter was in Spanish and she used the word “resplandor” and when I looked up the meaning it stayed with me.
The intense brightness of an entity that emits their own light energy.
Celebrating a special occasion whether it be a birthday, engagement, accomplishment or life change in the presence of your loved ones is one of the most joyous and memorable moments in life. It’s that glow we emit when we experience and relive these memories. Because when we’re happy we truly glow. When it came time to pick our venue name I knew it had to be this, so I translated “resplandor” to another language and fell in love with the Estonian version.
That’s what the Sära is, that glow, that brightness, that radiance, that self emitting light source we become.
